In a dramatic rescue operation, a Filipino ship with a crew of 20 was taken back from pirates in the Arabian Sea with no casualties after the crew used the "citadel" procedure. 

U.S. Naval forces disrupted a pirate attack on M/V Falcon Trader II, a Philippine-flagged merchant vessel, after it reported it had been attacked by pirates March 24.

OMBUDSMAN IMPEACHMENT: Gutierrez to face trial in the Senate

210 affirmative votes, 47 negative votes, and four abstentions said the House of Representatives approving House Resolution no. 1089, of the impeachment complaints against Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez.

JAPAN: Nuclear timebomb starts ticking
